““A Traditional Mediterranean Dessert with a New Style”

ChocoPops inspired from the Traditional Mediterranean fried dough dessert, called Lokma / Loukoumades modernised with delicious taste dessert. It’s nothing more than fried sweet dough, but should be stated that it’s addictive! Since these are bite size, you might not realize how many you eat, these taste so darn good! It used to be traditionally made in big amounts and served to large group of people at special occasions like weddings, openings of workplaces, even at funeral ceremonies. It is still a common treat especially in Mediterranean regions and there are special companies making it for such occasions. They take big cauldrons to the place they are invited and make it right there. It’s not surprising to see people in long queues in front of these cauldrons since it is delicious, crispy and lovely when it’s fresh and warm. Besides being a traditional treat at special occasions, it has also become one of the best fast-food dessert option since it is served hot/fresh with chocolate sauces, even under sun in summer or breezy times in winter.

ChocoPops dough contains dry yeast, sugar, flour, water and salt. And suitable frying oil. That’s it! Before serving the cooked Lokma balls, you may ask for chocolate sauces stuffing (bitter/white), cream stuffing, or fruit-based sauces stuffing.
ChocoPops is innovative, worth to try and addictive dessert which served crispy and golden outside and soft and light golden inside. You should hear the noise of crispiness when you bite it. Also, it should be juicy inside, but not doughy.

You can eat only plain simple Pops in syrup with only sprinkled cinnamon, coconut or pistacchio powder on it or stuffed with chocolate (bitter/white) chocolate or fruit-based sauces and covered with different types of sauces and sprinkled dried fruit granules, coconut or many different toppings; which is the modern form called ChocoPops
